🗓 August 4–8, 2025
📖 “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” (Psalm 122:1)
Each August, Medjugorje becomes the spiritual heart of the world’s youth. The flags, the songs, the silent moments, and the heartfelt testimonies create a unique mosaic of faith. In 2025, this extraordinary event—Mladifest—returns from August 4th to 8th, drawing thousands of young pilgrims from around the globe to experience the joy, challenge, and transformation that Medjugorje offers.
🎶 What Is Mladifest?
Officially known as the Festival of Youth, Mladifest is a powerful annual celebration where young Catholics gather to reconnect with their faith, deepen their relationship with Christ, and respond to the message of the Queen of Peace. Since its humble beginnings in 1989 under the guidance of Fr. Slavko Barbarić, Mladifest has grown into one of the most significant Catholic youth events worldwide—deeply prayerful, profoundly joyful, and unmistakably universal.

đź’¬ Why It Matters
Mladifest is not a concert. It’s not a conference. It is, at its core, a living experience of God’s mercy, deeply rooted in the Eucharist, Scripture, and community.
For many, Mladifest marks a new beginning—a call to vocation, a healing of the heart, a discovery of purpose. As thousands of candles light the Medjugorje sky, every pilgrim carries home a flame that burns far beyond the festival’s end.
